The first official service of the Lincoln Berean Church was held
on June 3, 1962, in the original YMCA building at 13th and P
Streets with an average attendance of 32 people.
By November of 1964, the church moved to a newly remodeled building at 11th & M with approximately 135 people.
With a weekly attendance of over 200, in June of 1968, LBC moved to 17th & A Streets. In 1978, land was purchased at 70th & Hwy 2 to construct a new facility with the church averaging an attendance of over 450 people.
In March of 1981, a phase of the construction was completed and the church moved into the new auditorium. The office phase was completed in 1986 and the worship center in 1991, with over 1,000 people attending.
In April, 2007 we moved into the current auditorium with 2500 seats. This new space has allowed us to go from six services to three, with unfinished space in the balcony for growth. Today, each weekend’s average attendance runs well over 3000 people.
